Description: Please come and join us to learn more about what is an Education Evaluation and how it can help to find the root cause of learning challenges, evaluate exceptionality or obtaining a baseline of academic performance, learn how this can be incorporated in an education plan to help support the child and uncover tips and resources to support children.
Expert Speaker: Gina Stefanini an educator at Simmons University and academic evaluator from Boston Massachusetts with over 30 years of experience in public and private educational institutes including over 10 years with Harvard University with graduate coursework in special education assessment, assistive technology, and inclusive practices and works with private families and agencies.
Sensory Souk brings you SENCOs in Qatar, a group for professionals who work within SEN settings. They hold monthly seminars and their goal is 3-fold:
–help create a community among Special Education teachers and coordinators in Doha
–facilitate communication within the SEN community and share ideas that help teachers and kids in the classroom
–provide useful information through professional development seminars
