Mohammed Abu Zeinab: is a licensed Brain and Body Method owner in the middle east and runs Brain Education ME. Abu Zeinab has an illustrious record of producing and managing sport and community events that raise the potential of youth and provide opportunity for large working teams and groups to. develop their skills and self-awareness. Mohammed had worked with niche, unique and large educational institutions across the South-West region of the U.S.A through change management projects helping them transition swiftly through phases of internal as well as external development. Through his work with various non-profits such as Arizona State University, TED Conferences Global, International Brain Research Association (IBREA), United Nations (UNESCO), Food for the Hungry, U.S AID, Supreme Council of Health – Qatar and Supreme Council of Education – Qatar as well as various corporations including Vodafone, Ooredoo (Qatar Telecom), SHELL Qatar and the Al Jazeera Network

Community Connect Doha is hosting a coffee morning on Tuesday October 16th! Join us for coffee, good company, and to chat about our October Workshop – Financial Safety for Expats.

We meet at the HBKU student center food court. We bring the brew and you bring the conversation. This is free a event. Please note that our coffee mornings are open to everyone! Attending the previous workshop is NOT a prerequisite. If anything, coffee mornings are the perfect time to catch up on missed workshops! They are also informal so if you have to bring the baby or your kids please feel free to do so.

Mr.Graham Foxwell is Financial Advisor with 17 years experience, and has been an expat in Doha for 13 years. Prior to that he had worked at the Japanese Bank in London for 12 years. He has two children, and his wife sadly passed away 7 years ago. That life tragedy prompted him to work with the Doha community to be prepared for any life situation financially.

No Such Thing as a Naughty Child -Exploring ADHD

Date: Tuesday September 11

Location: Qatar Academy Doha Primary AV Room

Please join us as we explore how to support children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) both at home and in the classroom.This workshop will look at the medical definition of ADHD, what behaviour truly classifies as ADHD and strategies on how to successfully deal with an ADHD childs needs.

Our Expert Panel Speakers include Dr Fatima Janjua from Sidra Hospital Pediatric Development team, and Mayouf Rouf from Superwire.

Please arrange for babysitting. Workshops are free to members, membership can be paid for in person at the workshop or any coffee morning. This workshop will be presented in English.
